Officially Licensed USMC VMO-2 Patch — Marine Observation Squadron 2 Embroidered Patch (4.5" Variant)

VMO-2 — the observation squadron that became the eyes of Marine divisions in combat.

VMO-2 was a Marine observation squadron that provided visual reconnaissance, artillery spotting, helicopter gunship support, and forward air control throughout its distinguished history. VMO-2 served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, flying everything from grasshopper liaison aircraft to OV-10A Broncos and AH-1 Cobras. In Vietnam, VMO-2 flew some of the most dangerous missions in Marine aviation — low-altitude observation runs over enemy territory, directing artillery and air strikes while absorbing ground fire.

Perfect For:
VMO-2 veterans from all eras, Marine observation squadron aviators, Vietnam-era OV-10 and Cobra crews, and USMC observation squadron patch collectors.

VMO-2. Eyes of the Marines.
