This embroidered patch represents the airframes shop of Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 352 (VMGR-352), the Raiders, based at MCAS Miramar, California. Airframes Marines are responsible for the structural integrity of the KC-130J Super Hercules — the fuselage, wings, flight control surfaces, landing gear, and every structural component that keeps the aircraft airworthy. VMGR-352's airframers work in one of the most physically demanding maintenance specialties, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining the massive C-130 airframe through deployments and high-tempo operations.
