VMFAT-501 Warlords Shoulder Patch — Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 501 Embroidered Patch

The Warlords — VMFAT-501 training the next generation of Marine F-35B Lightning II pilots.

VMFAT-501 "Warlords" is a Marine Fighter Attack Training squadron established to train Marine aviators on the F-35B Lightning II. Based at MCAS Beaufort, South Carolina, VMFAT-501 serves as the Fleet Replacement Squadron for the F-35B, taking pilots transitioning from legacy platforms like the F/A-18 Hornet and AV-8B Harrier and qualifying them on the most advanced tactical aircraft in Marine Corps history. The Warlords name connects the training squadron to the combat legacy of VMFA-451 Warlords. VMFAT-501's instructors are among the most experienced F-35B pilots in the world, teaching stealth employment, advanced sensors, data fusion, and network-centric warfare.

Perfect For:
VMFAT-501 Warlords students and instructors, F-35B Lightning II training pipeline, MCAS Beaufort personnel, Marine fifth-generation aviation enthusiasts, and fleet replacement squadron patch collectors.

Warlords. VMFAT-501. Training tomorrow's fighters.
