Officially Licensed USMC VMFAT-101 Sharpshooters Patch — Where Marine Hornet Pilots Are Forged

Every Marine Hornet pilot who ever trapped aboard a carrier learned their craft from the Sharpshooters first.

Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 101 (VMFAT-101), the Sharpshooters, is the Marine Corps' Fleet Replacement Squadron for the F/A-18 Hornet. The Sharpshooters are responsible for training every Marine F/A-18 pilot before they join operational fighter attack squadrons, ensuring they are proficient in air-to-air combat, air-to-ground weapons delivery, carrier operations, and tactical maneuvering. VMFAT-101's instructors are among the most experienced Hornet pilots in the Marine Corps, returning from fleet tours to pass their combat expertise to the next generation. Without the Sharpshooters, the Marine Corps cannot generate combat-ready Hornet pilots.

Perfect For: VMFAT-101 Sharpshooters instructors and graduates, Marine Hornet pilots, F/A-18 enthusiasts, Marine FRS training pipeline members, and USMC fighter aviation collectors.

Sharpshooters — building Marine Hornet pilots since day one.
