**Officially Licensed USMC VMFA(AW)-121 Green Knights Sticker — Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron Vinyl Sticker**

The Green Knights — from Guadalcanal aces to the first operational F-35B squadron in the Marine Corps. VMFA(AW)-121 has been leading Marine tactical aviation for over eight decades.

VMFA(AW)-121, the "Green Knights," was activated on 24 June 1941 and first saw combat over Guadalcanal, where the squadron produced 14 aces — the highest tally of any Marine squadron in a single campaign. Through the decades, the Green Knights flew Corsairs, Skyhawks, A-6 Intruders, and F/A-18D Hornets, deploying from MCAS El Toro and later MCAS Miramar. As VMFA(AW)-121, the squadron flew the two-seat F/A-18D on all-weather strike missions across the Pacific and Middle East. Now redesignated VMFA-121 and operating from MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, the Green Knights became the first operational F-35B Lightning II squadron in the Marine Corps, achieving Initial Operational Capability in July 2015 and forward-deploying to the Indo-Pacific theater.
