Officially Licensed USMC VMFA-323 Death Rattlers Patch — Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 323 Embroidered Patch

The Death Rattlers — one of the top-scoring Marine fighter squadrons of World War II with over 124 aerial victories at Okinawa.

VMFA-323 "Death Rattlers" is a premier Marine fighter attack squadron based at MCAS Miramar, California, under Marine Aircraft Group 11 (MAG-11). Commissioned on August 1, 1943, as VMF-323, the Death Rattlers earned legendary status during WWII, claiming over 124 aerial victories during the Battle of Okinawa. Flying the F4U Corsair, VMF-323 pilots dominated the skies in some of the most intense aerial combat of the Pacific war. The squadron continued through Korea and the jet age, eventually operating the F/A-18C Hornet for decades of combat deployments including Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.

Perfect For:
VMFA-323 Death Rattlers veterans, WWII Pacific aerial combat historians, F4U Corsair aces collectors, F/A-18 Hornet community, MCAS Miramar personnel, and USMC fighter attack squadron patch collectors.

Death Rattlers. VMFA-323. Rattlers don't warn twice.
