**Officially Licensed USMC VMFA-134 Smoke F-4 Phantom Sticker — Marine Reserve Fighter Attack Squadron Vinyl Sticker**

VMFA-134 "Smoke" in the F-4 Phantom — because nothing says Marine Corps Reserve quite like strapping into a double-ugly, twin-engine, fire-breathing legend on a drill weekend. The Phantom era was VMFA-134's meanest chapter.

Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 134 (VMFA-134), known as "Smoke," received its VMFA designation on 1 October 1983 when the squadron transitioned to the F-4 Phantom II while assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 46, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing. Before the Phantom, the squadron had flown A-4 Skyhawks out of MCAS El Toro as VMA-134. The unit's lineage dates to 1 May 1943 when it was activated as VMSB-134 at MCAS Santa Barbara, quickly redesignated as Marine Torpedo Bombing Squadron 134 (VMTB-134) and deployed to the South Pacific, participating in campaigns across the Solomon Islands, New Britain, and the Philippines during WWII. As a reserve Phantom squadron, VMFA-134 maintained combat readiness while based in Southern California, eventually transitioning to F/A-18A Hornets and continuing to serve at MCAS Miramar until the squadron moved to cadre status in 2007.
