VMAT(AW)-202 "Double Eagles" was the Marine Corps' Fleet Replacement Squadron for the A-6E Intruder, responsible for training pilots and bombardier/navigators (B/Ns) for fleet VMA(AW) squadrons. Every Marine who flew the A-6 Intruder passed through the Double Eagles' training syllabus, learning the complex systems, all-weather navigation, and precision bombing techniques that made the Intruder community so lethal.
