**Officially Licensed USMC VMAQ-2 Playboys Sticker — Marine Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron Vinyl Sticker**

The Playboys — the original Marine electronic warfare squadron, and the last to fly the legendary EA-6B Prowler. When you control the electromagnetic spectrum, you control the fight.

VMAQ-2 traces its origins to 1952 when it was commissioned at MCAS Cherry Point as VMC-2, the original composite squadron in Marine Corps aviation combining aerial reconnaissance and electronic warfare. In 1955 — the same year Playboy magazine launched — the squadron adopted the Playboy name and bunny logo with permission. Flying the EA-6B Prowler, VMAQ-2 deployed twelve aircraft to Bahrain for Desert Shield/Desert Storm, joining Navy Prowlers and Air Force EF-111 Ravens to form an electronic warfare hammer that dismantled Iraq's air defense network across nearly 500 combat sorties. The squadron flew missions over Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan, achieving the highest utilization rate for any Prowler squadron in the Marine Corps. VMAQ-2 was decommissioned on March 8, 2019, as the last Marine EA-6B Prowler squadron — ending an era in Marine electronic warfare.
