**Officially Licensed US Navy VF-213 Black Lions Sticker — Fighter Squadron Vinyl Sticker**
VF-213 Black Lions — the squadron that flew Tomcats over Iraq and came home with a reputation sharper than their fangs. If you know the roar, you know the legacy.
VF-213, the "Black Lions," was established on 22 June 1955 at NAS Moffett Field, California. The squadron initially flew the F3H Demon before transitioning to the F-4 Phantom II in the 1960s. VF-213 made multiple combat deployments to Vietnam aboard USS Kitty Hawk, flying strike escort, MiGCAP, and combat air patrol missions over North Vietnam. In 1976, the Black Lions transitioned to the F-14A Tomcat and continued deploying aboard carriers including USS Enterprise and USS Abraham Lincoln. The squadron was redesignated VFA-213 on 2 April 2006 and transitioned to the F/A-18F Super Hornet. VFA-213 remains active today as part of Carrier Air Wing Eight, continuing the Black Lions' legacy of excellence in naval aviation.
