**Officially Licensed US Navy VF-202 Superheats Sticker — Fighter Squadron Vinyl Sticker**
VF-202 Superheats — the Naval Air Reserve squadron that proved weekend warriors could fly with the best of the fleet. Reserve unit, frontline reputation.
VF-202, the "Superheats," was a U.S. Naval Air Reserve fighter squadron based at NAS Dallas, Texas. Originally established as VF-884 during the Korean War era, the squadron was redesignated VF-202 as part of the Naval Air Reserve reorganization. VF-202 flew the F-8 Crusader before transitioning to the F-4N Phantom II in the 1970s, and later upgraded to the F-14A Tomcat in 1987 — making them one of the few Reserve squadrons to operate the mighty Tomcat. Assigned to Reserve Carrier Air Wing Twenty (CVWR-20), the Superheats regularly deployed for carrier qualifications and fleet exercises, proving their combat readiness alongside active-duty squadrons. VF-202 was disestablished on 31 December 1994 as part of the post-Cold War drawdown of Reserve fighter assets.
