VAQ-135 Black Ravens Sticker - Electronic Attack Squadron 135 (VAQ-135) Black Ravens EA-18G Growler Vinyl Sticker, NAS Whidbey Island.

Thunder callsign, raven identity, and the quiet electronic dominance that clears the sky before the strike package ever arrives.

VAQ-135 was established on 15 May 1969 at Naval Air Station Alameda as a tactical electronic warfare squadron built to provide carrier air wings with jamming support and aerial refueling capability. The Black Ravens first flew the EKA-3B Skywarrior before relocating to Naval Air Station Whidbey Island in 1973 and transitioning to the EA-6B Prowler. Over the following decades the squadron deployed across the Mediterranean, Western Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Persian Gulf, earning two Navy Unit Commendations for electronic warfare support during Libya operations in 1986, including close-support jamming during strikes on the Benina and Benghazi airfields. The squadron continued to build its record through Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom. On 1 November 2010 the Black Ravens commenced transition to the EA-18G Growler, achieving safe-for-flight designation on 17 June 2011, and later completed an expeditionary deployment operating from Misawa Air Base, Japan, refining tactics and building interoperability with U.S. and allied units across the Pacific. That unbroken line from Vietnam-era jamming missions to modern Growler operations gives the Black Ravens insignia a depth that goes well beyond a single deployment or aircraft type, making this vinyl sticker a compact piece of Navy electronic warfare history.

Perfect for Navy electronic attack veterans, EA-18G Growler aircrew, EA-6B Prowler alumni, VAQ-135 Black Ravens squadron members and families, NAS Whidbey Island supporters, carrier air wing collectors, Navy aviation historians, laptop and gear bag displays, shadow box builds, cruise book keepsakes, and anyone assembling a serious collection around the history of airborne electronic warfare and the squadrons that have shaped it across more than five decades of fleet service.

Black Ravens heritage, pressed flat and ready for the panel, the locker, or the shadow box.
