**Officially Licensed US Navy VA-66 Waldomen Sticker — Attack Squadron Vinyl Sticker**

VA-66 Waldomen — the Atlantic Fleet Corsair drivers who circled the globe on nuclear power and launched to defend the USS Liberty when Israel attacked.

VA-66, the "Waldomen," was established as Reserve Fighter Squadron VF-671 on February 1, 1951, redesignated VF-81 in 1953, and finally VA-66 on July 1, 1955. The squadron flew A-4 Skyhawks and later A-7E Corsair IIs from Atlantic Fleet carriers including USS Enterprise, USS Forrestal, USS Independence, and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. In 1964, VA-66 participated in Operation Sea Orbit — the first circumnavigation of the world by an all-nuclear task force — completing the sixty-five-day voyage without replenishment. During the 1967 Six-Day War, VA-66 aircraft launched to defend USS Liberty when she came under attack. The squadron operated in crisis after crisis — Jordan in 1970, the Yom Kippur War in 1973, Lebanon in 1982 and 1983, and an Indian Ocean deployment that kept the crew at sea for 246 consecutive days. VA-66 was disestablished on October 1, 1986.
