USS Tripoli LPH-10 — US Navy Embroidered Patch

Semper Princeps — Always First

USS Tripoli (LPH-10) carried the motto "Always First" and lived up to it across decades of amphibious operations. This officially licensed patch represents the sailors and Marines who served aboard this distinguished amphib.

USS Tripoli (LPH-10) was an Iwo Jima-class amphibious assault ship commissioned in 1966. Named after the Battle of Derna (Tripoli) in the First Barbary War, the ship deployed Marine helicopter squadrons worldwide. During Operation Desert Storm, Tripoli struck an Iraqi mine in the Persian Gulf but continued operations. The ship was decommissioned in 1995.

Perfect For:
USS Tripoli veterans, amphibious assault ship sailors, Marine amphibious operations community, and Navy warship heritage collectors.

Semper Princeps — Always First.
