USMC Combat Aircrew Wings are awarded to enlisted Marines who serve as crew members aboard Marine Corps aircraft in combat or combat-equivalent conditions. These wings represent the completion of rigorous training and qualification standards, followed by service in the demanding environment of military aviation. Combat aircrew members serve as crew chiefs, aerial gunners, loadmasters, and other essential positions aboard helicopters and tiltrotor aircraft, performing their duties in hostile airspace where the margin for error is razor-thin. This sticker was created at the request of the Popasmoke community, honoring the enlisted aircrew members whose contributions to Marine aviation are indispensable.
