Officially Licensed US Navy VA-34 VFA-34 Blue Blasters Patch — Attack Squadron 34/Strike Fighter Squadron 34 A-6 Intruder Embroidered Patch
Blue Blasters — from Intruders to Hornets.
Attack Squadron 34 (VA-34) / Strike Fighter Squadron 34 (VFA-34) "Blue Blasters" is one of the United States Navy's most historic attack and strike fighter squadrons. The Blue Blasters flew the A-6 Intruder all-weather attack aircraft before transitioning to the F/A-18 Hornet, carrying their aggressive identity from the deep-strike mission to the multi-role fighter attack world.
VA-34 earned its reputation flying the Grumman A-6 Intruder, the Navy's premier all-weather, low-level attack aircraft. Blue Blasters crews flew into the most heavily defended airspace on Earth, navigating at treetop level in total darkness and zero visibility to deliver ordnance on targets that no other aircraft could reach. The A-6's DIANE weapons system gave Blue Blasters the ability to find and destroy targets in any weather, any time of day or night. When the squadron transitioned to the F/A-18 and was redesignated VFA-34, the Blue Blasters brought their attack mentality to the multi-role Hornet, maintaining their identity as one of the Navy's most aggressive strike squadrons.
This patch honors the Blue Blasters' legacy from A-6 to F/A-18.
Perfect For: VA-34/VFA-34 Blue Blasters veterans, A-6 Intruder enthusiasts, Navy attack aviation historians, and strike squadron patch collectors.
