**Officially Licensed US Navy VA-122 Flying Eagles Sticker — Attack Squadron Vinyl Sticker**
VA-122 Flying Eagles — the West Coast's A-7 Corsair II Fleet Replacement Squadron. Every Pacific Fleet light attack pilot earned their wings here before heading to the fleet.
VA-122, the "Flying Eagles," served as the U.S. Navy's Pacific Fleet A-7 Corsair II Fleet Replacement Squadron based at NAS Lemoore, California. The squadron was responsible for training replacement pilots and enlisted maintenance personnel for all West Coast A-7E Corsair II squadrons deploying to the Western Pacific and Southeast Asia. VA-122 took raw aviators fresh from advanced jet training and turned them into combat-ready light attack pilots, qualifying them in weapons delivery, navigation, carrier operations, and tactical employment of the Corsair II. The Flying Eagles operated one of the largest training syllabi in naval aviation, producing hundreds of A-7 pilots who flew combat missions in Vietnam, the Mediterranean, and beyond.
