US Air Force Engineering Prime Beef Patch — USAF Civil Engineering Prime BEEF Embroidered Patch
Prime BEEF — the Air Force's combat engineers build it, fix it, defend it.
Prime BEEF (Base Engineer Emergency Force) is the United States Air Force's expeditionary civil engineering program, designed to deploy combat engineers and infrastructure specialists to build, repair, and maintain air bases in austere and combat environments. Prime BEEF teams are the Air Force's answer to the question of how to create operational airfields from scratch — or repair battle-damaged ones under fire. These Airmen construct runways, erect buildings, install electrical and plumbing systems, and provide the infrastructure that allows air operations to begin from bare bases around the world.
Air Force civil engineers are among the most versatile Airmen in the service, trained in heavy construction, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, structural repair, explosive ordnance reconnaissance, and emergency management. During deployments, Prime BEEF teams work around the clock to keep air bases operational, repairing bomb-damaged runways, restoring utilities after attacks, and constructing the facilities that house and support thousands of Airmen and aircraft. The Prime BEEF program ensures that the Air Force can project air power from any location on Earth, regardless of existing infrastructure.
Perfect For: USAF civil engineering veterans and active-duty Airmen, Prime BEEF team members, base engineer emergency force alumni, Air Force combat engineering enthusiasts, and military patch collectors who respect the Airmen who build and sustain air bases under fire.
Build it, fix it, fight for it — Prime BEEF gets it done.
