Original artwork by a Vietnamese-born artist who grew up surrounded by American aircraft — this is personal.
This is the first collector patch produced by the Skid Kids community, created in close collaboration with artist KhaiCo Vu. Born in Vietnam during the war, KhaiCo grew up around American aircraft, pilots, and soldiers. Today he lives in America and channels those memories into aviation art that bridges two worlds. This collector piece captures the UH-1 Huey gunship through the eyes of someone who saw them firsthand.
