OH-58 Kiowa Commemorative Patch
Designed by the pilots who flew it — a tribute from cockpit to collection.
This commemorative patch was designed and created by U.S. Army combat helicopter pilots to honor the OH-58 Kiowa, which served the Army from 1969 to 2017. The Kiowa began its service as a light observation helicopter in Vietnam, where it flew low-level reconnaissance missions in some of the war's most dangerous airspace. Over the decades, the airframe evolved into the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior, armed with Hellfire missiles and a mast-mounted sight that made it one of the most effective armed reconnaissance helicopters in the world. From the Persian Gulf to Iraq and Afghanistan, Kiowa pilots were always out front, always exposed, and always in the fight. This patch was born from that community and carries their firsthand respect for the aircraft.
Perfect For:
OH-58 Kiowa pilots and crew chiefs, Army cavalry scout aviators, combat aviation veterans, and collectors of Army rotary-wing heritage.
From the pilots who flew it — a tribute to the scout.
