VMMT-204, the Raptors, is the Marine Corps' MV-22B Osprey Fleet Replacement Squadron based at MCAS New River, North Carolina. Every Marine tiltrotor pilot and crew chief in the fleet passes through VMMT-204's syllabus — learning to fly and maintain the Osprey before joining an operational squadron. The Raptors are the gatekeepers of the tiltrotor community, responsible for producing combat-ready aviators and aircrew who will go on to deploy with MEUs, fly assault support missions, and operate from amphibious ships around the world.
