V-22 San Diego Tilt Sticker — SeaElk Style from America's Finest City

Because when you tilt rotors in San Diego, you're doing it with perfect weather and zero complaints.

This V-22 San Diego Tilt sticker pays tribute to VMM-166, the SeaElk, and the tiltrotor community out of MCAS Miramar, California. VMM-166 was a Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey squadron based in San Diego, activated in 1985 and redesignated as a tiltrotor squadron in 2010 when they transitioned from the CH-46 Sea Knight to the MV-22 Osprey. The SeaElk deployed as the aviation combat element of the 11th MEU multiple times, supporting operations from Desert Storm to Operation Inherent Resolve across 36 years of service before deactivating in October 2021 as part of Force Design 2030. This sticker celebrates the San Diego tiltrotor legacy — V-22s banking over the Pacific with Miramar in the rearview.

Perfect For: VMM-166 SeaElk Marines and veterans, MCAS Miramar tiltrotor community members, V-22 Osprey crews and maintainers, and anyone who tilted rotors out of San Diego.

San Diego Tilt. Where the SeaElk roamed.
