Officially Licensed USMC VMGR-352 Raiders 2021 Sticker — Fueling the Fight Since 1943
When the MAGTF needs gas, cargo, or close air support from a tanker, the Raiders answer.
VMGR-352 "The Raiders" was formed on April 1, 1943, at MCAS Cherry Point as VMJ-352, originally flying the Douglas R4D Skytrain. After redesignation and a move to MCAS El Toro, the squadron supported the Korean War before receiving the KC-130 Hercules in 1961 — expanding its mission to include aerial refueling. The Raiders were called upon during the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Dominican Republic intervention, and flew continuous support missions in Vietnam from 1962 to 1972. In November 2001, VMGR-352 deployed to Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom, and during Operation Iraqi Freedom they helped assemble the largest gathering of KC-130s in history. The Raiders made history again as the first squadron to employ the Harvest HAWK weapons system, turning their KC-130J into an armed overwatch platform capable of delivering Hellfire missiles and precision-guided bombs. Based at MCAS Miramar under MAG-11, this 2021 sticker honors one of the most versatile and combat-tested squadrons in Marine aviation.
Perfect For: VMGR-352 Raiders and Herc crews, KC-130J pilots and loadmasters, MAG-11 and 3rd MAW personnel, and anyone who knows the tanker community keeps everything else in the air.
