Marine Wing Communications Squadron 18 (MWCS-18), the "Warriors," provides communications and information systems support to 1st Marine Aircraft Wing and its subordinate commands across the Indo-Pacific theater. Based in Okinawa, Japan, MWCS-18 operates the tactical data networks, satellite terminals, and radio systems that keep the aviation combat element connected to the MAGTF command structure. From expeditionary airfields to shipboard operations, MWCS-18 Marines establish and maintain the command-and-control links that allow Marine aviation to function. The squadron operates under MACG-18 and supports III Marine Expeditionary Force operations throughout INDOPACOM.
