Officially Licensed USMC 8th Communication Battalion Sticker - United States Marine Corps 8th Communication Battalion (8th Comm), II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, officially licensed vinyl sticker.

The network is the mission, and 8th Comm keeps it up, defended, and running wherever the Marine Corps needs to command and control.

8th Communication Battalion traces its lineage to 15 January 1951, when it was activated at Camp Geiger, North Carolina, as the 2d Signal Operations Company, Fleet Marine Force Atlantic. Relocated to Camp Lejeune and redesignated through several titles, the unit became 8th Communication Battalion on 2 August 1954. Today it serves as part of the II Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, with a mission to establish, maintain, and defend communication networks for MAGTF command elements, Marine component headquarters, and Combined and Joint Task Force headquarters. That mission has taken the battalion from the Landings in Lebanon and the Cuban Missile Crisis through Hurricane Katrina relief, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, as well as rotational deployments supporting the 22nd, 24th, and 26th Marine Expeditionary Units. The battalion has continued to evolve its architecture to provide more versatile cyber, radio, and data communication services in support of modern joint task force operations. This officially licensed vinyl sticker carries that deep operational identity in a durable, weather-resistant format suited for gear, vehicles, laptops, and display boards.

Perfect For: 8th Comm veterans and active-duty Marines, II MEF supporters, Camp Lejeune alumni, Marine Corps communications MOS collectors, military families, deployment keepsake displays, shadow boxes, unit reunion gifts, and anyone building a collection around Marine Corps command-and-control heritage and East Coast expeditionary force history. It also makes a meaningful tribute for the operators, satellite technicians, and network defenders who keep commanders connected across every environment and every spectrum of conflict.

8th Comm lineage, officially licensed and built to last as long as the network it represents.
