Officially Licensed USMC 3rd Battalion 7th Marines The Cutting Edge Patch - 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment (3/7) officially licensed embroidered infantry patch representing one of the most combat-decorated battalions in Marine Corps history.

The Cutting Edge has been at the front of every major American conflict since 1941, and this patch carries that identity with the weight it deserves.

Activated on 1 January 1941 at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, 3rd Battalion 7th Marines is a light infantry battalion assigned to the 7th Marine Regiment under the 1st Marine Division, garrisoned at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California. The battalion earned its Cutting Edge nickname through a combat record that spans Guadalcanal, Peleliu, and Okinawa in World War II, the Chosin Reservoir in Korea, and sustained operations across Vietnam from Da Nang to Chu Lai. In the Gulf War, 3/7 participated in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, and in 2003 the battalion drove as part of the main effort during the invasion of Iraq, pushing north to Baghdad before conducting stability operations in Karbala. During the Global War on Terror, 3/7 completed eleven sequential combat deployments across Iraq, Afghanistan, and Operation Inherent Resolve, a record unmatched in the regiment. The battalion's mission remains unchanged: locate, close with, and destroy the enemy by fire and maneuver. This officially licensed embroidered patch represents that unbroken line of service across eight decades of American conflict.

Perfect For: 3/7 Marines veterans, India, Kilo, Lima, and Weapons Company alumni, 1st Marine Division collectors, Twentynine Palms unit historians, GWOT-era infantry patch collectors, family members honoring a Marine's service, shadow box builders, reunion displays, challenge coin and patch boards, and anyone assembling a serious Marine Corps infantry unit-history collection that demands verified lineage and officially licensed insignia.

The Cutting Edge, stitched in thread and backed by eight decades of Marine Corps combat history.
