Naval Air Station Olathe, located in Olathe, Kansas, served as a Naval Air Reserve facility from its establishment during World War II through its closure. The station hosted reserve aviation squadrons and provided the training and operational support needed to maintain reserve military aviation readiness in the Midwest. NAS Olathe was an important part of the Navy's nationwide reserve aviation network.
