Officially Licensed US Navy HSM-46 Grandmasters Squadron PVC Patch - Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 46 (HSM-46), the Grandmasters, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, officially licensed MH-60R Seahawk PVC patch.

Set the standard. That is the Grandmasters motto, and it defines a squadron that has carried the Navy maritime strike mission from the Atlantic Fleet to carrier strike groups, destroyers, and cruisers around the world.

HSM-46 was established on 7 April 1988 at Mayport, Florida, as Helicopter Antisubmarine Squadron Light 46 (HSL-46), flying the SH-60B Seahawk in the LAMPS mission. The squadron was redesignated HSM-46 in March 2012 as the Navy transitioned to the more capable MH-60R Seahawk and expanded the maritime strike mission set. Today the Grandmasters are recognized as the longest-standing expeditionary HSM squadron on the East Coast, deploying combat-ready MH-60R detachments to individual air-capable ships and carrier strike groups across the Atlantic and beyond. Each detachment carries pilots, sensor operators, and maintainers who execute anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, search and rescue, medical evacuation, vertical replenishment, and communications relay. The squadron has served in Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and the Global War on Terror, and is currently assigned to Carrier Air Wing 7 aboard USS George H.W. Bush. The chess knight mascot and the Grandmasters name reflect a unit identity built on precision, strategy, and the discipline to outthink and outperform in every operating environment. This officially licensed PVC patch captures that identity in a durable, field-ready format suited for flight gear, patch panels, shadow boxes, and display boards.

Perfect for HSM-46 veterans and active aircrew, MH-60R Seahawk enthusiasts, Naval Air Station Jacksonville alumni, Carrier Air Wing 7 collectors, Navy helicopter maintainers, deployment keepsake displays, cruise book companions, shadow boxes, challenge coin boards, and anyone building a serious East Coast naval aviation patch collection around maritime strike heritage and expeditionary squadron history.

Grandmasters standard, set in PVC and built to last as long as the mission.
