Officially Licensed US Navy Blue Angels Squadron Leather Patch - United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron officially licensed leather patch, capturing eight decades of precision aviation heritage.

Blue and gold at 700 knots: the Blue Angels carry the pride and professionalism of the entire Navy and Marine Corps every time they take the sky.

Established in 1946 by order of Chief of Naval Operations Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz, the Blue Angels were created to maintain public interest in naval aviation following World War II. Their first demonstration flew at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida, on June 15, 1946, and the team has never stopped performing since. Formally commissioned as the United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron in December 1973, the Blue Angels represent a joint Navy and Marine Corps effort, with sixteen officers and more than one hundred active duty enlisted Sailors and Marines serving voluntarily on the team. Stationed at Forrest Sherman Field, Naval Air Station Pensacola during the air show season and training at Naval Air Facility El Centro, California each winter, the squadron has performed for nearly 500 million spectators worldwide across nine decades of flight. Today the team flies the Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet in precision formations that showcase the discipline, teamwork, and excellence expected of every naval aviator. This officially licensed leather patch captures that legacy in a durable, richly textured format built for display boards, shadow boxes, flight bags, and veteran collections.

Perfect For: Navy and Marine Corps veterans, Blue Angels air show fans, naval aviation collectors, NAS Pensacola alumni, active duty Sailors and Marines, military family members, reunion keepsakes, shadow box builds, challenge coin and patch display boards, and anyone who wants an officially licensed piece tied to one of the most recognized flight demonstration teams in the world. It also makes a meaningful gift for supporters who grew up watching the diamond formation overhead and want a lasting tribute to the precision, discipline, and service behind every show.

Eight decades of blue and gold, stitched into leather built to last as long as the legacy.
