Marine Aircraft Group 41 (MAG-41) is a Marine Corps Reserve aviation group assigned to the 4th Marine Aircraft Wing (4th MAW) under Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES), headquartered at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NASJRB) Fort Worth, Texas. MAG-41 oversees several reserve aviation squadrons, providing command, control, and administrative support to units including VMFA-112, VMFT-401, VMGR-234, and other reserve squadrons that maintain combat readiness as part of the Marine Corps' total force.
The "Bunny" mascot of MAG-41 dates back to the group's World War II heritage, when the original insignia was adopted. Despite the seemingly lighthearted mascot, MAG-41's reserve squadrons maintain deadly serious combat capability — they fly the same aircraft and meet the same training standards as their active-duty counterparts, ready to be mobilized and integrated into the active force at the nation's call. The 4th Marine Aircraft Wing's reserve squadrons have been activated for multiple conflicts, proving that reserve Marines can fight and fly with the best.
