**Official VT-35 Stingrays T-54 PVC Shoulder Patch**
Wings of Gold start here. VT-35 is where multi-engine student naval aviators earn their wings and head to the Fleet—P-8 Poseidons, Ospreys, and beyond. This PVC patch marks the final stage of the journey.
Training Squadron 35, the "Stingrays," was established on 29 October 1999 at NAS Corpus Christi, Texas—the first U.S. Navy command established under an Air Force officer's leadership. VT-35 flies the T-44C Pegasus and T-54A Marlin II, training Navy and Marine Corps student aviators in advanced multi-engine operations. Graduates earn their Wings of Gold and proceed to fly the P-8 Poseidon, CMV-22B, and MV-22 Osprey in operational squadrons.
