Official VMM-USA Lucky Red Lions PVC Patch - Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 363 (VMM-363) Lucky Red Lions MV-22B Osprey PVC Patch, officially representing one of Marine Corps aviation's most storied assault support squadrons.
Lucky Red Lions identity, Indo-Pacific readiness, and seven decades of Marine assault support heritage captured in durable PVC.
VMM-363 traces its lineage to June 2, 1952, when it was activated at Marine Corps Air Station Santa Ana, California, in response to the demands of the Korean War. The squadron earned its iconic Lucky Red Lions name and insignia during the Vietnam War, when Korean Marine forces presented the unit an award following Operation Flying Tiger, a combined airlift mission widely regarded as the most successful Korean offensive of that conflict. That gift became the foundation of the squadron's identity and has carried forward through every aircraft transition since. Today VMM-363 flies MV-22B Ospreys from Marine Corps Base Hawaii under Marine Aircraft Group 24 and the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, providing assault support transport of combat troops, supplies, and equipment across amphibious and expeditionary operations. The squadron has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, TRAP missions covering Iraq and Syria as part of SPMAGTF-CR-CC rotations, and forward presence with Marine Rotational Force Darwin in the Indo-Pacific. The PVC format renders the Red Lions insignia with sharp color and field-ready durability, making it a natural fit for flight-line gear, patch panels, shadow boxes, and unit-history displays that demand both accuracy and longevity.
Perfect For: VMM-363 veterans and active aircrew, MV-22B Osprey enthusiasts, Marine Aircraft Group 24 and 1st Marine Aircraft Wing collectors, MCB Hawaii and MCAS Miramar alumni, Marine Rotational Force Darwin participants, assault support community members, deployment keepsake displays, challenge coin and patch boards, shadow boxes, reunion gifts, and anyone building a serious Marine Corps aviation collection anchored in Indo-Pacific forward presence and tiltrotor heritage.
Lucky Red Lions pride, molded in PVC and built to outlast every deployment board it lands on.
