Official VMM-363 REIN Red Lions MRF-D 23 Patch — Lions Down Under
Because when the Lucky Red Lions deploy to Darwin, even the crocodiles pay attention.
VMM-363, the Lucky Red Lions, deployed to Australia's Northern Territory in 2023 as part of Marine Rotational Force — Darwin 23, a six-month rotation focused on training, deterrence, and crisis response across the Indo-Pacific. Based out of MCB Hawaii and flying MV-22B Ospreys, the Red Lions served as the Aviation Combat Element, conducting air inserts, combined arms training, and multinational exercises including Talisman Sabre 23 alongside Australian Defence Force partners. The squadron's lineage stretches back to 1952, through Vietnam combat operations, Operation Restore Hope in Somalia, and multiple deployments to Iraq — earning a Presidential Unit Citation along the way. This MRF-D 23 patch marks one of the Lions' most significant Pacific deployments.
Perfect For: VMM-363 Red Lions MRF-D 23 participants, MAG-24 Osprey crews, Marine rotational force veterans, and anyone who's trained in the Australian outback and lived to tell about it.
Lucky? Always. Red? Obviously. Lions? You better believe it.
