Official VMM-164 Knightriders RIMPAC 26 ACE PVC Patch - Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 164 (VMM-164) Aviation Combat Element commemorative PVC patch marking the squadron's participation in Exercise Rim of the Pacific 2026.

Knightriders in the Pacific — assault support heritage, tiltrotor reach, and multinational exercise identity captured in one durable PVC piece.

VMM-164 traces its lineage to 1 July 1964 and carries one of the most storied records in Marine medium aviation, including being the first CH-46 Sea Knight squadron to fly combat missions in Vietnam. After decades of expeditionary service across Desert Storm, Somalia, and the Western Pacific, the Knightriders transitioned to the MV-22B Osprey in 2015 and reached full operational capability in 2017. The squadron is assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 39 under the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing and operates from MCAS Camp Pendleton. Most recently, VMM-164 completed a demanding six-month deployment to Combined Joint Task Force–Horn of Africa from June to December 2024, operating across Djibouti, Somalia, and several other nations with 12 aircraft and 290 personnel. RIMPAC 2026, running June 24 to July 31 around the Hawaiian Islands, marks the 30th iteration of the world's largest international maritime exercise and brings together 31 nations to sharpen interoperability and amphibious readiness. The ACE designation on this patch reflects the Aviation Combat Element role that tiltrotor squadrons like VMM-164 fill within the Marine Air-Ground Task Force, providing assault support, personnel recovery, and combat logistics across the exercise battlespace.

Perfect For: VMM-164 Knightriders veterans and active aircrew, MV-22B Osprey enthusiasts, RIMPAC 2026 participants and alumni, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing and MAG-39 collectors, Marine Corps aviation historians, deployment and exercise keepsake displays, shadow boxes, patch panels, gear bags, and anyone building a serious Indo-Pacific or Marine tiltrotor unit-history collection. It also makes a meaningful gift for families, maintainers, and supporters who want a specific, event-tied piece that honors the Knightriders' long record of assault support and expeditionary readiness.

Knightriders lineage, Pacific-proven, stitched into every exercise and every deployment since 1964.
