VMGR-153 is a Marine aerial refueler/transport squadron operating the KC-130J Super Hercules out of Marine Corps Base Hawaii under MAG-24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing. The squadron provides assault support, aerial refueling, and tactical transport to Marine forces across the Pacific theater. "Whisper Pig" is the kind of dark, irreverent nickname only a Herc community could love — because the KC-130 is many things, but quiet isn't one of them.
