Official VFA-151 Vigilantes Operation Epic Fury Patch - Strike Fighter Squadron 151 (VFA-151) F/A-18E Super Hornet Embroidered Patch commemorating combat operations during Operation Epic Fury, February 2026.

Vigilantes on the cat, Super Hornets off the deck, and a combat record that stretches from Korea to the Persian Gulf and beyond.

VFA-151, the Vigilantes, trace their lineage to Fighter Squadron 23, established at Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia on August 6, 1948. The squadron adopted the Vigilantes name in 1959, a callsign chosen to reflect an around-the-clock vigil of combat readiness. Over the following decades the unit flew the F4U Corsair, F9F Panther, F-4 Phantom II, F-14 Tomcat, and F/A-18 Hornet family through conflicts spanning Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, and the Global War on Terror. Today the squadron flies the F/A-18E Super Hornet as part of Carrier Air Wing 9 aboard USS Abraham Lincoln, operating under tail code NG with the radio callsign Ugly. In late February 2026, VFA-151 flew combat sorties from USS Abraham Lincoln as part of Operation Epic Fury, the U.S. Central Command campaign commenced on February 28, 2026 at the direction of the President of the United States. Vigilantes F/A-18Es launched from Lincoln's flight deck on the opening day of the operation, placing this patch directly at the intersection of the squadron's long combat heritage and one of the most significant naval aviation events in a generation. An embroidered patch in this format captures that moment with the kind of tactile permanence that flight suits, shadow boxes, and collection boards demand.

Perfect For: Navy aviation veterans, VFA-151 Vigilantes alumni and crew members, CVW-9 and USS Abraham Lincoln sailors, F/A-18E Super Hornet enthusiasts, Operation Epic Fury participants and supporters, naval aviation historians, patch board and shadow box collectors, deployment keepsake builders, reunion gift buyers, and family members honoring a Vigilantes sailor who flew or maintained aircraft during this historic combat deployment.

Vigilantes heritage, stitched into the moment the Super Hornets launched for Epic Fury.
