Official VAQ-137 Rooks RIMPAC 2026 Patch - Electromagnetic Attack Squadron 137 (VAQ-137) EA-18G Growler RIMPAC 2026 Official Embroidered Patch, Carrier Air Wing 11, USS Theodore Roosevelt.
Rooks on the board, Growlers in the electromagnetic spectrum, and a Pacific coalition exercise that only happens once every two years.
VAQ-137 was commissioned on December 14, 1973, and has since built one of the most decorated records in Navy electronic attack aviation, earning five Admiral Arthur W. Radford Awards for highest achievement in electronic warfare among all VAQ squadrons. The Rooks flew EA-6B Prowlers through decades of carrier deployments before transitioning to the Boeing EA-18G Growler in 2013, bringing full-spectrum jamming, suppression of enemy air defenses, and signals exploitation into the modern carrier air wing. Assigned to Carrier Air Wing 11 aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt, the Rooks brought that Growler capability to RIMPAC 2026, the 30th iteration of the world's largest international maritime exercise. Held June 24 through July 31 in and around the Hawaiian Islands, RIMPAC 2026 united 30 nations, more than 30,000 personnel, and nearly 200 aircraft under the theme Partners: Integrated and Prepared. The Theodore Roosevelt carrier strike group led the American contingent, placing VAQ-137 at the center of coalition electronic warfare integration across five weeks of realistic combined training.
Perfect For: Navy electronic attack veterans, EA-18G Growler aircrew and maintainers, VAQ-137 Rooks alumni, Carrier Air Wing 11 collectors, USS Theodore Roosevelt crew members, RIMPAC 2026 participants from any nation, shadow box builders, deployment keepsake seekers, challenge coin and patch board enthusiasts, and anyone documenting the history of Navy electromagnetic attack aviation or Indo-Pacific coalition exercises. It also makes a meaningful gift for families and supporters who want a specific, dated piece tied to a real deployment milestone rather than a generic aviation souvenir.
Rooks heritage, Pacific coalition history, and Growler identity stitched into one official exercise patch.
