VAQ-136 flew the EA-18G Growler and its predecessors, providing suppression of enemy air defenses and electronic attack capability to carrier strike groups across the Pacific. The Gauntlets' five-decade legacy includes combat deployments, peacetime deterrence operations, and the constant evolution of electronic warfare tactics that have kept the Navy's adversaries guessing.
