Official VAQ-132 Scorpions World Tour Deployment Patch - Electronic Attack Squadron 132 (VAQ-132) Scorpions EA-18G Growler Official Embroidered Deployment Patch.

First to the Fleet, First to the Fight — the Scorpions go everywhere the mission demands, and this patch marks every stop along the way.

VAQ-132 traces its lineage to 1952 and has carried the Scorpions name since its redesignation as a tactical electronic warfare squadron in 1968. The unit became the first operational squadron to fly the EA-6B Prowler in Vietnam, flew combat sorties from six carriers on Yankee Station in the Gulf of Tonkin, and was first into Operation Desert Storm in 1991. When the electronic attack community transitioned to the EA-18G Growler, VAQ-132 led that effort too, completing the transition in 2009 and deploying the platform into combat operations over Libya during Operation Odyssey Dawn. Based at NAS Whidbey Island and assigned to Electronic Attack Wing Pacific, the Scorpions have logged deployments across the Western Pacific, the Middle East, and Europe, racking up over 1,800 flight hours and a 98 percent sortie completion rate during a single Western Pacific deployment alone. The World Tour name on this patch captures that relentless operational tempo — a squadron that has touched nearly every theater where electronic warfare and suppression of enemy air defenses have mattered. The embroidered construction gives the design the classic squadron-patch feel that collectors, veterans, and aircrew expect from a piece tied to a unit with this depth of history.

Perfect For: Navy electronic attack veterans, EA-18G Growler aircrew and maintainers, VAQ-132 Scorpions alumni, NAS Whidbey Island community members, carrier air wing collectors, deployment keepsake displays, shadow boxes, patch panels, cruise books, reunion gifts, and anyone building a serious Navy aviation collection around electronic warfare heritage and Western Pacific operations.

Scorpions heritage, stitched into every deployment and every theater the mission has ever demanded.
