Official USCG Air Station Miami America 250th Patch - United States Coast Guard Air Station Miami America 250th Anniversary Commemorative Embroidered Patch, honoring the nation's semiquincentennial and one of the Coast Guard's oldest and busiest aviation commands.

Semper Paratus over the Caribbean basin, from Dinner Key to Opa-locka, for over nine decades of lifesaving, law enforcement, and national service.

Coast Guard Air Station Miami was commissioned in June 1932 at Dinner Key on Biscayne Bay, making it the first contemporary aviation unit in the U.S. Coast Guard and one of the longest-serving air stations in the service's history. Relocated to Opa-locka Executive Airport in 1965 to meet a rapidly growing mission workload, the station today operates the HC-144 Ocean Sentry maritime patrol aircraft and the MH-65 Dolphin helicopter across a vast area of responsibility spanning the southeastern United States and the Caribbean basin. Crews from CGAS Miami have answered the call through World War II anti-submarine patrols, the 1980 Mariel boatlift, Hurricane Katrina relief operations, and countless search and rescue cases that have saved thousands of lives at sea. The station is widely recognized as one of the busiest air and sea rescue commands in the world, conducting maritime law enforcement, drug interdiction, migrant operations, and disaster response year-round. This embroidered patch ties that extraordinary operational legacy to the America 250th commemoration, marking the 1776 to 2026 milestone with a unit that has served the nation for most of its modern history. The embroidered construction gives the design clean detail suitable for display boards, shadow boxes, flight jackets, and unit-history collections.

Perfect For: USCG Air Station Miami veterans and active-duty personnel, Coast Guard aviation collectors, MH-65 Dolphin and HC-144 Ocean Sentry crew members, District Seven alumni, America 250th anniversary commemorative collectors, shadow box and patch board builders, reunion and retirement gifts, and anyone honoring the long tradition of Coast Guard search and rescue, maritime law enforcement, and humanitarian service in South Florida and the Caribbean. It is also a meaningful keepsake for families and supporters who want a single embroidered piece that connects a proud unit history to a once-in-a-generation national milestone.

Nine decades of Semper Paratus, stitched into one commemorative patch for America's 250th.
