From HC-2 to HSC-2, the Fleet Angels have been the Atlantic Fleet's guardian angels for generations.
This patch honors the lineage connection between Helicopter Combat Support Squadron 2 (HC-2) and Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 2 (HSC-2), both carrying the Fleet Angels name. Operating from the Atlantic Coast, the Fleet Angels transitioned from the H-3 Sea King through the MH-60S Knighthawk, providing vertical replenishment, combat search and rescue, special warfare support, and fleet logistics throughout their history. HC-2/HSC-2's mission has always centered on supporting the fleet — getting people, parts, and supplies where they're needed, when they're needed, regardless of conditions.
