Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 75 (HS-75), the Emerald Knights, was a U.S. Navy Reserve helicopter squadron that operated the H-3 Sea King. The Emerald Knights maintained combat-ready anti-submarine warfare and search and rescue capabilities with citizen-sailor aircrew who trained during drill weekends and annual duty periods. Like all Reserve helicopter squadrons, HS-75's aircrews brought a unique blend of military expertise and civilian professional experience to the cockpit. Their emerald-themed identity stood out among the Navy's helicopter community, and the Knights' commitment to readiness ensured they could deploy alongside active-duty squadrons when called.
