Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 15 (HS-15), the Red Lions, was a U.S. Navy helicopter squadron that operated the H-3 Sea King, deploying as part of carrier air wings to provide anti-submarine warfare, combat search and rescue, and utility support. The Red Lions' Pacific deployments took them across the vast expanse of the world's largest ocean, where they tracked submarine contacts, recovered personnel, and supported fleet operations from carrier flight decks.
