Helicopter Combat Support Squadron 16 (HC-16), the Bullfrogs, was a U.S. Navy helicopter squadron that operated the H-3 Sea King in the fleet logistics support, vertical replenishment, and combat search and rescue roles. The Bullfrogs provided essential rotary-wing support to the fleet, delivering cargo, mail, and personnel to ships at sea and ashore installations. HC-16's Sea Kings were the workhorses of fleet logistics, and the Bullfrogs' crews developed expertise in precision cargo delivery and over-water operations that kept the surface fleet supplied and supported.
