Official US 237th Med Det DMX Dustoff Sticker - United States Army 237th Medical Detachment (Helicopter Ambulance) DMZ Dustoff vinyl sticker honoring the unit's aeromedical evacuation legacy from Vietnam through modern service.

When the call came in, the 237th answered — unarmed, single-ship, and into the fire — because that is what Dustoff crews do.

The 237th Medical Detachment was activated at Fort Meade, Maryland, and deployed to Vietnam as one of the Army's dedicated helicopter ambulance units. Operating in northern I Corps near the DMZ, the detachment flew under the Dustoff call sign from Camp Evans and Quang Tri, earning the self-given title of the northernmost Dustoff unit in South Vietnam. Dustoff aircraft flew unarmed, marked only with red and white crosses, on single-ship missions into contested terrain, and the crews of these detachments faced casualty rates far higher than any other helicopter community in the war. The unit's UH-1H Hueys carried pilots, crew chiefs, and flight medics into some of the most dangerous airspace of the conflict, including support missions during Operation Lam Son 719 along the Laotian border. The 237th was among the last Dustoff units to leave Vietnam, departing in May 1973 after years of continuous medevac operations. After the war, the unit was reorganized as part of the Ohio Army National Guard, carrying the Dustoff mission forward into peacetime readiness, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. This vinyl sticker captures that lineage in a durable, weather-resistant format suited for gear, vehicles, display boards, and personal collections built around Army medical aviation history.

Perfect For: Army MEDEVAC veterans, 237th Medical Detachment alumni, Dustoff crew members and flight medics, Vietnam War historians, Ohio Army National Guard supporters, aeromedical evacuation collectors, shadow box builds, unit reunion displays, military family keepsakes, and anyone who wants to honor the courage of unarmed helicopter crews who flew into harm's way to bring the wounded home.

DMZ Dustoff heritage, preserved in vinyl for the crews who never waited for the skies to clear.
