Official MALS-26 Patriots Pin-Up Patch - Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 26 (MALS-26) Patriots Pin-Up Embroidered Patch, officially licensed USMC insignia.

Patriots pride, rotary-wing readiness, and the quiet professionalism of Marine aviation logistics stitched into one bold pin-up design — because the maintainers, supply specialists, and ordnance Marines who keep the aircraft flying deserve their own piece of patch culture.

Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 26 traces its roots to 16 June 1952, when it was commissioned at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina. Redesignated H&MS-26 in February 1954, the squadron relocated to MCAS New River and was assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 26 under the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing that same July. Redesignated MALS-26 in October 1988, the Patriots consolidated all intermediate-level aviation maintenance and supply responsibilities under one squadron. That same year a detachment earned the Joint Meritorious Unit Award for operations in the Persian Gulf, and in August 1990 the squadron participated in Operation Sharp Edge, the evacuation of more than 1,600 civilians from Monrovia, Liberia. The Patriots keep MAG-26 rotary-wing aircraft mission capable, providing maintenance, ordnance handling, and supply chain support for platforms including the CH-53E Super Stallion, MV-22B Osprey, and AH-1Z Viper. Sustained readiness work carried the squadron through Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom, earning the unit a Presidential Unit Citation, Navy Unit Commendation, and multiple Meritorious Unit Commendations, along with recognition as 2nd MAW MALS of the Year in 1992, 1993, 1997, and 1998. The pin-up design format gives the Patriots insignia a classic morale-patch character that connects the squadron's long logistics legacy with the irreverent, crew-driven artwork tradition that has defined military aviation patch culture for generations.

Perfect For: MALS-26 Patriots veterans and active-duty Marines, MAG-26 and 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing collectors, MV-22B Osprey and CH-53E maintainers, aviation logistics community members, MCAS New River alumni, Operation Sharp Edge and Desert Storm veterans, deployment keepsake displays, shadow boxes, challenge coin and patch boards, reunion gifts, and anyone building a serious Marine Corps aviation patch collection that honors the maintainers, supply specialists, and ordnance Marines who keep the aircraft flying when it matters most.

Patriots heritage, pin-up character, and a logistics legacy earned across every major Marine Corps deployment since the Cold War.
