MALS-16's Marines perform intermediate-level maintenance, supply chain management, avionics repair, ordnance support, and quality assurance for CH-53E Super Stallions, MV-22B Ospreys, and other aircraft assigned to MAG-16 under 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. The Immortals' work directly determines whether MAG-16's squadrons can meet their mission readiness requirements.
