This "Backbone" PVC patch emphasizes MALS-16's critical role as the maintenance, supply, and logistics foundation upon which the entire aircraft group depends. The Immortals manage intermediate-level maintenance, aviation supply, ordnance, avionics repair, and support equipment that keep MAG-16's tiltrotors and heavy-lift helicopters mission-capable. Without MALS-16's daily efforts, the aircraft simply don't fly.
