Official HSC-14 Chargers Name Tags — Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 14 Chargers Name Tag Embroidered Patches

HSC-14 Chargers name tags — personalized squadron identification for the helicopter sea combat warriors based at NAS North Island.

Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 14 (HSC-14), the "Chargers," is a U.S. Navy helicopter squadron based at Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, California, operating the MH-60S Seahawk as part of Carrier Air Wing 9 (CVW-9). These squadron name tags provide personalized identification for HSC-14's officers, enlisted personnel, and aircrew, combining the Chargers' squadron design with individual names and qualifications.

HSC-14 conducts a wide range of missions including vertical replenishment (VERTREP), combat search and rescue (CSAR), special warfare support, anti-surface warfare (ASUW), and humanitarian assistance. The MH-60S Seahawk's versatility makes HSC-14 one of the most operationally diverse squadrons in the carrier air wing. The Chargers deploy aboard aircraft carriers and operate from shore bases worldwide, supporting the carrier strike group across every phase of naval operations.

Name tags are an essential part of military aviation culture, worn on flight suits and uniforms to identify squadron members. HSC-14 name tags feature the distinctive Blue and Gold Chargers design alongside individual names, creating personalized keepsakes that members treasure long after their time in the squadron.

Perfect For: HSC-14 Chargers members, MH-60S Seahawk community, CVW-9 personnel, NAS North Island community, and Navy squadron name tag collectors.

HSC-14 Chargers — your name, their squadron — charge into the fight with your Chargers identity.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right backing?

If you want to swap patches on/off gear, choose hook & loop (velcro). If you’re attaching permanently to uniforms or fabric, choose sew-on. If you want quick application on compatible fabric, choose iron-on / heat seal (when offered). Backing options are shown on the page and update based on the variant you select.

What size is this item?

Size is shown on the product page and updates with the variant you select (example: 3"). If you’re mounting on a hat or small panel, choose smaller sizes; for plate carriers and display boards, larger sizes fit better.

Are these Officially Licensed?

If the product is officially licensed, it will say “Officially Licensed” in the title and/or in the product details. If it doesn’t, it’s still a legitimate product—just not part of a licensed program.

Do you offer bulk or reruns for units/squadrons?

Yes. If you see a note like “bulk reruns available,” that means we can support group orders or reruns. If you don’t see it, contact us with the unit/squadron and quantity and we’ll confirm options.

Can you make a custom patch / name tag / lanyard / apparel?

Yes—custom solutions are available (patches, name tags, lanyards, apparel). Use the custom request page and include artwork, size, backing preference, and quantity.
