Official HMH-772 Hustlers Mini Patch - Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 772 (HMH-772) CH-53E Super Stallion Reserve Unit Embroidered Mini Patch, Marine Aircraft Group 49, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing.

Heavy lift, reserve pride, and a record-setting legacy stitched into one compact Hustlers patch.

HMH-772 traces its roots to April 15, 1958, when it was activated at the Marine Air Reserve Training Command in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, as part of the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Over the following decades the squadron evolved through multiple redesignations before earning its current identity as Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 772, operating the CH-53E Super Stallion out of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, under MAG-49 and the 4th Marine Aircraft Wing. The Hustlers carry a list of firsts that sets them apart from any other reserve aviation unit: they were the first reserve squadron to receive the special operations capable designator, and the first unit to airlift the Marine Corps M777A2 lightweight howitzer in combat during operations in Afghanistan. The squadron has deployed in support of Operations Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom, and continues to integrate seamlessly with active duty forces for assault support, aircraft recovery, and humanitarian assistance missions. That combination of reserve identity, heavy-lift capability, and documented combat firsts gives this mini patch a story worth displaying.

Perfect For: HMH-772 Hustlers veterans and alumni, CH-53E Super Stallion crew members and maintainers, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing collectors, Marine Corps Reserve aviation supporters, MAG-49 unit historians, deployment keepsake displays, shadow boxes, challenge coin and patch boards, reunion gifts, and anyone building a Marine aviation collection around heavy-lift heritage and reserve excellence. It also suits family members and supporters who want a compact, well-researched tribute to the crews who kept the Stallion flying across decades of contingency operations.

Hustlers heritage, compact in size, outsized in history.
